What time will the races be held?

As of right now right now, the races will begin at 9:30pm EST. Before the schedule is finalized, this may be slightly adjusted (30 minutes either direction) based on input from those who sign up for the debut season. There will be a 2 hour practice session held before qualifying.

The debut season will be free. Donations are highly appreciated and sponsorships will determine the costs for future seasons.

Join the wait list by filling out the information above! We will email you with updates and invite you to the league on iRacing once it is launched on the platform.

Yes! The races will be broadcasted live on YouTube on the Vortex Racing Network with the best commentators and producers in the business covering the action and storylines all season long.

The races will be lap format and will take around 90 minutes to complete on average.

There is one halfway stage that pays out points based on race participation numbers. The stage does NOT bring out a caution.

The league will run a modified Chase For The Cup system spanning 10 races. There are no playoff eliminations or a championship race.

In order to participate in the debut DDI Truck Season, drivers must:

  • Have an iRating below 3000 at the start of the season.
  • iRating cannot have exceeded 4000 within the previous 2 calendar years.
  • Safety rating must be above 2.0
  • Driver performance can be evaluated at any point in the season to maintain a competitive environment.

The points system will be similar to the modern NASCAR points system. However, we plan to include bonus points for race achievements such as leading a lap, most laps led, fastest lap, and 0x incidents.

The plan is to have dedicated race control. Meaning, our race control will not be racing on track in order to focus entirely on the integrity of the race.

The season will be composed of 12 regular season races and 10 Chase races. The schedule will be finalized about one month before the start of the season. It will closely follow the iRacing C Fixed official schedule, with some exceptions to protect race quality.
