Zach Panzarella

With a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts from California State University, Long Beach, Zach Panzarella combines a love for storytelling with a deep passion for motorsports. A diehard auto racing fan for over 25 years, he brings a deep understanding of motorsports to the booth. An experienced and decorated sim racer, Zach has collected a Precision League Racing Truck Series Championship, an MRL Truck Series regular-season title, race wins in both the MRL and PRL, and over 50 iRacing official victories across oval and road disciplines. His time behind the wheel gives him a rare combination of passion, analysis, and expertise.

Buddy Sallee

Head of production

Buddy's sim racing journey began in the early 2000s with the legendary Papyrus NASCAR racing titles. Raised on NASCAR Sundays and local dirt track Saturdays, racing has always been more than a hobby—it’s a way of life. After discovering iRacing in 2015, Buddy took a few detours before making a full return in 2022 with a focus on asphalt oval racing. He joined the Bonfire Racing League and hasn’t looked back, staying active in the sim racing scene ever since. Buddy brings a fresh perspective rooted in a lifelong passion for tech and programming. A self-taught coder, he's fluent in CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Java, and even dabbles in C# when the mood strikes. His curiosity and drive to push the boundaries of what SDK overlays and sim racing broadcasts can do is what fuels his work at VRN—both on screen and behind the scenes.

Mean Gene Money

Mean Gene Money is a professional actor and broadcaster based in the South East United States. With degrees in both Broadcasting and theatre coupled with a MFA in acting, Mean Gene has enjoyed a successful career on stage and screen. His love of storytelling and passion for racing have led him into this new adventure - broadcasting the most exciting action in iRacing on the Vortex Racing Network, which has been both a joy and pleasure. Mean Gene Money cannot wait to bring you along for the ride on VRN.

kevin kyle

Lead commentator

Kevin Kyle brings a hands-on, no-nonsense energy to the VRN team—fitting for someone who grew up wrenching on cars and now hauls aggregate in his own Super 10 dump truck. A graduate of Charter Oak High School and an ASE-certified mechanic, Kevin cut his teeth in a late model fabrication shop near Irwindale Speedway before steering his passion toward sim racing and content creation. His journey into broadcasting began with a G29 wheel, a hand-me-down PC, and some mentorship from PIM at the Cavok Network. Since then, he’s been making content around iRacing, hockey, and even woodworking—because why not? When he’s not behind the mic or the wheel, Kevin’s usually found working out, running, or throwing down in the kitchen.
